On 13 January, High Commission of India invited members of the Brunei Youth Council (BYC) at the High Commission to provide them with a glimpse of the working and responsibilities of a diplomat. High Commission had joined hands with Brunei Youth Council to harness the youth and give them an overview about the overall functioning of a diplomatic mission with a view to encourage them take up responsibilities for a better tomorrow.

As part of the celebrations for Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav ‘India @75”, this initiative was taken by the High Commission to prepare youth for shouldering responsibilities and taking up their roles as the leaders of the future.  A salient message was to prepare oneself to embody the concept of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, which means the world is a family’ and all should work for its welfare.
