Celebration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in Brunei Darussalam

In conjunction with the 5th International Day of Yoga celebrations, the High Commission also organised a Tree Planting event and a Vegetarian Food Festival to mark the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. In this connection, 14 trees were planted at India House by the members of the Diplomatic corps led by High Commissioner, Shri Ajaneesh Kumar, senior and prominent Indian citizens, members of the 3 Indian Associations and the Indian Chamber of Commerce and practitioners of yoga under Mr. Ram Lavat Prajapati, Teacher of Indian Culture (TIC) in the High Commission. Over 250 practitioners of Yoga, who attended the IDY celebrations, actively and enthusiastically participated in the Tree Planting and Vegetarian Food Festival.
