High Commission of India celebrates the 
73rd Republic Day of India on 26 January 2022

High Commission of India in Brunei Darussalam celebrated the 73rd Republic Day of India on 26 January 2022 at 8.00 am at the Chancery premises.  The event was celebrated in compliance of the COVID-19 protocols.

During the event, Charge d’Affaires a.i. in the High Commission of India, Mr. Alok Verma unfurled the National Flag.  This was followed by singing of the National Anthem after which the Cd’A a.i. read the excerpts of the Address to the Nation by Hon’ble President of India, H.E. Mr. Ram Nath Kovind, delivered on the eve of the Republic Day.  

The event was attended by members of the Indian diaspora and friends of India.
